A patient at a well-known prison psychiatric hospital, a former university professor accused of the murder of his daughter Andromeda, writes a diary. At first glance, the pages do not seem to make sense, but in reality they contain crucial clues to reconstruct the order in which the defendant wrote them and understand what really happened. The case has been assigned to a psychiatrist who attempts to question the patient during his therapy sessions without obtaining notable results. It seems that the accused has locked himself into a compulsive silence and observes his surroundings with an absent gaze. However, over time, the psychiatrist grows fond of the patient and is convinced of his innocence. It is she who finds the pages of the diary scattered around the accused's cell. Altered by the discovery and ready to discover the truth, she begins to read, trying to put order in the fragments of the story. The diary pages make reference to Western culture, emphasizing literary and mythological culture, the patient's two passions. To reconstruct the chronological order of the text it is necessary to trace the encrypted elements that belong to important events in Western history. Reading between the lines we will discover that what at first glance seem like delusions of madness are clues that contain the keys to solving the mystery.
