This novel written in Spanish by costarrican novelist Alexander Obando offers a wide fragmented view of the universe in an impressive collage of genre fiction (sci-fi, erotica, terror, suspense) and erudite history and literary references. It has been described as David Mitchells Cloud Atlas meets Burroughs Naked Lunch and Joyces Ulyses. Literary critics purport it to be the first postmodern centralamerican novel.
