Melanie Ewbank, the author of Ella's Trip of a Lifetime, was three years old when she had a near-death experience nearly drowning in a pool. This book is based on that life-changing event. We don't get to hear or read of these events occurring to one so young, nor do we have the benefit of an excellent author expressing these experiences in an awesome book for children.
