Emoji Revival

Emoji Revival is both listing and listless. This collection is a series of series. Events are explored and worked with but not always through. Marzi Margo is especially skilled at making a serious game of sentimentality in ways that nostalgia can be played with in negative yet humorous ways. That one can continue to hurt while growing and can have desire if not fondness for embracing past selves and past others who have helped to get one to this point in life. Margo also looks to the mundane and movies and life as living in the everyday. The keenness with which the movies are watched is the same keenness with which life is rewatched.
