Have you ever felt like you were trying to find your place in the world? Jr., a student at Empowering Elementary, feels that way. One day, he ventures down a new hallway and comes upon a classroom full of amazing kids: Rue, Flower, Song, Alia, and Albert, and their awesome teacher, Mr. Rise. Alexis Dean (Author) is an educator, author, composer, and clean hip-hop artist originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His dream is to positively change the world; Dreams Start Young! 

Adam Qutaishat (Composer) is an actor, singer, composer, playwright, educator, and activist. He is Music Theatre of Madison's Associate Artistic Director. 

Ana Gonzalez (Illustrations) has been creating art her whole life as a visual artist and performer. She is over the moon to be collaborating on this exciting project!
