Encyclopaedia of Girls' School Stories

The Encyclopaedia of Girls School Stories is published in three volumes, of which this is Volume Two. Each volume contains articles on many the authors of girls' school stories, and bibliographical lists of all of them. In addition there are articles on various subjects to do with school stories, such as Early School Stories. As well as 32 colour illustrations, there are around 300 illustrations in black and white.
