Epistolae Graecae

This collection of 16 love letters in Greek was written in the 4th century CE. Each letter portrays a different love affair, and they are notable for their elaborate metaphors and rhetorical flourishes. This edition includes a facing-page English translation, as well as notes and commentary by classicist Peter Bing.
