A large group of children, schooled in the world gov banned post-Third Revolution science by the Professor, are forced to flee their cherished and comfortable home by an apocalyptic event only to discover that the world, if not the whole universe, is at war. When they descend from their exodus over the mountains in a search for safe haven, they come face-to-face with the final annihilation of all life on earth. They've reached a crucial precipice that challenges their very existence as well as the existence of the human species, but choose to stand, fight and die rather than surrender to the end of life and all of existence.
