Job Knox, a Scottish Minister, theologian, and writer who was also at the center of the reformation of his country was known for his fervency in prayer. He was a man who tarried in prayer until he witnessed changes and tangible evidence of God's power at work in his life and his nation. About his nation, he prayed to God, "Give me Scotland or I die". His fervency in prayer did not only get desired answers and the attention of God. It also persuaded men and women to his faith in God. Mary Queen of Scotland (BLOODY MARY) said of him, "I fear the prayers of John Knox more than all the armies of England."  

Prayer is communicating with God. King David, the second king of Israel and Judah observed the engagement of prayer by those in the marketplace. Of the sailors, he wrote, “Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and He guided them to their desired haven.” (Psalm 107:28-30).  

God moves in response to biblical fasting and prayer. God answers prayers that are in agreement with His will. His answers are not always Yes, but they are always in our best interest. John, having walked with Christ and witnessed His ways assures us, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to God’s will, He hears us...” (1 John 5:14-15). 

When we fast and pray biblically, passionately and purposefully according to the Will of God, Heaven responds powerfully with answers, miracles, blessings, breakthroughs, favours, victories, and open doors of unlimited opportunities. God’s best for your life is ahead of you.
