Eysheus Saga, Book One, Blood River

Eysheus (eye-she-us): An individual with the ability to enter and manipulate storybooks at will.
In Reitrin's world there was never a silver lining. Living in an apartment with a broken family, no friends, and a spirit of guilt left every day the same as the last. One day while escaping a thunderstorm she finds shelter in an odd restaurant. There her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Kaffie, the owner of the restaurant, and Etakai, a man plucked out of a storybook and abandoned in the real world. This event soon leads to the trio entering the book Blood River unintentionally. There they meet the Eysheus, Aoiro, who scrambled the story. The trio fights to fix the story, unsure if their efforts will help or make it worse.
