Abisha’s world is dominated by the ideals of the perfect Reachables and their mirrors. When faced by their rejection, she decides to take matters into her own hands to become thin and beautiful.

But her life is turned upside-down when a new teacher gives her a forbidden history book. This raises questions about her true identity. Soon Abisha doesn’t know who she can trust. What is true and what are fabrications?

Who is this book for?

Fabrications is a fantasy novel set in the fictional town Genville, where we get to follow the heroine Abisha in her battle around self-image, apperance and the search for identity. The book is written for teenagers and young adults but it is for anyone who has ever struggled with negative thoughts about themselves, or who simply love to read fantasy fiction.
