Faces of Discovery

This child-centered book explores the lives of famous and not so famous scientists, through a collection of portraits by a well-loved retired art teacher and artist, accompanied by child-friendly text. Both portraits and text explain how the scientists' discoveries came from children who were passionately curious about their observations of the world around them. Each of these scientists made discoveries that helped the world. The text is written in a way that's easy for children to understand, focusing on childhood curiosity, discoveries, and the collective impact on science through shared knowledge.
