Falling into You

Jonah's a 48-year-old widower who lost his wife four years ago. He's filled his days with work, concerts, and solo travel. He figures he had his chance at a once-in-a-lifetime love.

Abigail's his best friend's 24-year-old daughter, who recently moved back to the area for a job she couldn't refuse.

She's a flannel-wearing, sweater-loving, pumpkin-everything fan who lives for caramel apples, bonfires, and candy corn.

The only thing he likes about the summer ending is ski season is only a few months away.

Their first encounter is at a banquet honoring her father. The next is at a dive bar concert for a band no one else wanted to see with them. A third chance meeting has them comparing schedules and deciding to attend events together instead of solo.

The last thing either of them expects is to fall harder than they think they should.
