A mercenary group targets guests at a resort on remote Mayaguana Island in the Bahamas, where geologists Bartlett Ferguson and Anne Macron are on a working vacation. They escape, making themselves the targets. Their rescue of the tourists unwittingly ignites a fuse leading to an even more menacing threat - one closer to home.
