Families, Fathers and Failures. A Diary

An occasional diary of the way I may have seen my life from the start of the Second World War until after retirement at about the turn of the century. Cricket description is included because it has been a continuing thread of limited success and rather more failure, which has matched much of the rest of my life. My father and my own fatherhood both figure strongly through the love of cricket.
