The prevalent poor agricultural crops yield in Michika spearheaded the interest in this area, with the urge to assess the perception of local farmers towards climate change. The Higgi farmers' perception of climate change in Michika agreed with the statistical analysis of the area and consistent with the scientific trend. The rainfall and temperature trend of the area show an increasing pattern, also the onset trend for the rainfall shows a downward trend indicating that onset date is earlier and cessation of rainfall ends earlier than before. The Higgi farmers are knowledgeable of climate change and its impact on their livelihood, whereby the farmers decided to employ adaptation strategies in order to cushion the effect of climate change in their locality. Therefore, book assessed the knowledge and response of the Higgi farmers in Michika on climate chanige in Nigeria and their mitigation and adaptation measures.
