Fashion (R)Evolution is an exciting journey through fashion, from its most recent past to the present, with a vision for the future of fashion as a positive force for social and environmental change. Its author, Charo Izquierdo, who began her career writing a fashion magazine when she was only twenty years old, went on to direct the most important publications and fashion catwalks in Spain, offering a unique perspective on the changes that have took place in the industry. In these pages, she explores the evolution that fashion has undergone throughout its value chain, from haute couture and ready-to-wear to fast fashion and designer fashion, and how it has been shaped by new media, communication, social networks and content creators. It is also a recognition of the need for sustainable development for fashion and a look at events that have marked the path of fashion in Spain and in the world.
