Feeling Alienated

Rowan Layne is on the move to a new life in Las Vegas with her critter sidekicks in this second adventure of the Other Worldly series. But before she gets to Sin City, her Red Orbiter lover Raucous Wilde and his brother Rowdy disappear, leaving them incommunicado. She teams up with a former government operative and others to stage a deflective Iridescent Insect War, pitting buglike fictitious creatures against all-too-real anti-alien armed vigilantes fueled by presidential tweets and fearmongering.



As the Adventures of Luna Moth Woman debuts at a local writers group, wherein Rowan aims to reveal schemes that undermine otherworldly rights and threaten galactic combat, she finds herself wooed by a trio of suitors, two of which are alien. One thinks he’s Superman and is way too young for her, but does age really matter? Two are spies protecting her from vengeful armed evangelicals and HUMANS FIRST! fanatics holding a grudge from the rural central Nevada town she left behind.



Another secretive alien species with a talent for weather and mind manipulation object to her writing a tell-all tome of their existence. Rowan must find a way to appease them, and avoid abduction, while she writes speeches for otherworldly candidates in the upcoming election. Can Rauc and Rowdy return in time for the Omnipresent Party National Convention? Will Rowan finally be privy to their Red Orbiter secrets and learn the extent of her auditory abilities?
