Fígaro, el barbero más astuto y divertido de la literatura española, es el protagonista de esta famosa comedia de Pierre Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais, adaptada al español por José Ignacio de Alberti. La obra, escrita en el siglo XVIII, narra las aventuras de Fígaro mientras intenta ayudar a su amigo Conde Almaviva a conquistar a Rosina, la joven pupila de Don Bartolo.
