The next major step in Rena’s relationship with Cryder had finally landed, literally.

After a long plane trip to Cryder and Drake’s home country of Rome, Rena is cast into the world of

vampires far more than she ever thought was possible. There were expectations and big shoes to fill as

Rena would soon learn after meeting Cryder’s mother, the Queen of all vampires.

Not only did she have to learn every step of what her new life would be like, but there were trials that

would test every strength and weakness that Rena had. To say she was nervous was not even close, but

Rena knew she had to face the hardship of her past in order to move forward with the future. And

having her best friend, Cecile, still at her side made things a lot easier. However, what she learns in the

final trial tears her apart, but not nearly as much as when she wakes up to a bloody handprint on a wall

where her family and friends had stood waiting for her to wake.

A blood trail leads her to someone far eviler and more sinister than she had ever met before, and Rena

was now caught in the woman’s red gaze. The situation seemed all too familiar, except Rena knew

exactly who this woman was and how terrifying the situation really was. With her family and friends

missing, it was up to the future Queen to protect the vampire society she would soon be looking after.
