Fight or Flight

"...While we were waiting for the announcement, we overheard loud screaming noises coming from behind the stage."
"OK, pause. Let me guess. You girls went to check it out."
"Yep, you're good at this."
"So, you led yourselves right into danger?"
"Exactly!" they said in unison.
"As we went to the backstage area, we found ourselves faced with caution tape," one of the twins explained.
"Forcing you to turn around, right?"
"You don't know us at all, do you? We took caution as we ducked under the tape, duh."
I rolled my eyes as I picked up a pillow and smashed myself in the face.
