Wren's mother has been missing for five years, three months, and twelve days. Sometimes it seems like Wren and her grandmother are the only people who still care. Who are still looking.

But Wren won't give up, even if it means putting her sleuthing skills to other uses. Like finding her neighbors' lost pets. It may seem small, but there's no better feeling than reuniting a pup with a worried owner. Except, some of the animals are found hurt. Bad. Find Her explores the crisis of missing Indigenous women from the perspective of a sensitive young Cherokee girl who yearns to find her mother, while also navigating the everyday ups and downs of middle school, friendship, and family.
