Focus on Alcohol

The authors have deliberately avoided the traditional model of alcohol physiology, metabolic function or even drug classification. As an alternative, this book will focus on the state-of-the-art with regard to theory, research, and practice pertaining to alcohol abuse, using a psychosocial rather than a medical perspective. As a result, we believe that "Focus on Alcohol" will provide the reader with a more global and comprehensive approach to gaining insight to alcohol abuse behavior.
