Foreordained

The Kingdom of Nezmyth suffers under the weight of a tyrannical, decades-long rule. But 17-year-old Jason, who has no aspirations for power, has been Foreordained by the Sacred Dragon to replace the king. Jason must take courage, learn what it means to be king, and survive, or what's left of Nezmyth will crumble. But King Barnabas will do anything to retain his power.
