Forty Gems of Beauty

The Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was born at a time when ignorance prevailed in the world. However, by the Will of Allah, the revelations he received, his practices and his sayings became a source of guidance for mankind. These teachings are preserved in the form of the Quran, Sunnah and Ahadith. The Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him said

Whoso, with a view to the welfare and reformation of my people, committed to memory at least forty of my Hadith, Allah, the Excellent, will raise him up on the Day of Resurrection as a jurist and religious divine, and I will be his intercessor with Allah and a witness to his faith. (Shu'ab al-Iman)

In this book Hadrat Mirza Bashir Ahmad M.A. has compiled a selection of forty Ahadith with translation and commentary. Muslims should strive to learn these in light of this saying of the Holy Prophet(sa).
