Two years have passed since Maya and her fox companion Inari completed their journey to find the machine and determine the next step for humanity's future. Never would Maya have guessed that her former enemy, Kali, leader of The Trade Post, would become her ally and friend in this uncertain world. Now, that friendship will face a trial by fire as a new threat has emerged from the West. A dangerous and deadly cult known as the Dreaded Dragons, led by a ruthless fiend known as the Reaper, has seized The Trade Post, forcing Kali and her people to escape with their lives barely. With Maya and Inari's help, Kali hopes to retake her home and determine the nature of the cult that threatens their way of life.
