Frankie

This is a story about love, grief and redemption. And a very unusual cat...

Meet Frankie. He's a cat who knows a thing or two--like that a really perfect piece of string is meant for playing with, not for looping around your neck and hanging from the ceiling. When Frankie does his best to let Richard Gold know that he's playing with the string wrong, he unwittingly saves Gold's life, and neither of them will ever be the same.

Frankie moves in with Gold because he has a large TV, an extremely soft bed and mostly serves food on time--except for when he drinks that clear liquid that doesn't smell like water and then refuses to move. But that just won't do, because Frankie has plans, and letting Gold waste away is not one of them. So begins an extraordinary friendship between two outsiders: one realist who pays the rent and one noisy freeloader whose zest for life might just snag them a happy ending.
