Fresh Air

Paul Jamerson stared at the letter in his hand with apprehension. He felt obligated and had promised to fulfill that obligation any way he could, but this very odd request from a man he hardly knew made him feel uncomfortable. Would his grandmother agree to help? He dreaded that conversation as well. He would give consent to let Martin Garrett's daughter, Amy, reside with him for a short time to be introduced to a more refined society. He saw no way around it. Little did he suspect that this consent would come with a spirited girl that invade their world of polite 1897 society and challenge it. Nor did he realize how deeply he would be subjected to all of humanity, and the confusing, dramatic, and sometimes humorous upheaval this one girl could cause.
