Roscoe, fun and adventurous kid, like most of his peers, had a secret that he did not want revealed. He couldn't read. Ashamed of his disability, Roscoe bullied his classmates to divert attention from his illiteracy.

Eventually, another young boy named Frisky saw a win-win situation. If he helped Roscoe learn to read, maybe in return, Roscoe will stop bullying his classmates.
