From Darkness To Light

We all have struggles we deal with, and it is so important to have an outlet for an escape from our troubles. Krista McGuire struggles with mental disorders. Medication is necessary but only helps to an extent. This is when she put it in God's hands. She started painting and writing poetry for therapy, and it became her escape. This book is a collection of her work that tells her testimony and how God uses her gifts to glorify Him. Any person can relate to the book From Darkness to Light because it is poetry about everyday problems. Krista's goal is to speak to others about using the gifts God gave us, and this book is her stepping stone. She still struggles with mental disabilities, and she used to ask God, "Why me?" Now, she says, "Why not me?" One doesn't have to have a certain lifestyle, be a certain age, or have a certain level of education for God to use him or her. Krista's story proves that God can use us at our weakest moments. We just have to make ourselves available.
