From Spring Valley To The Sky

A small farm boy's dream of flying, his life during the depression years, and his "once in a lifetime chance" to become a pilot in the U.S. Navy during World War II. It includes many stories of his interesting travels to countries around the world including a visit to his mother's ancestral home in Ireland, participation on the Berlin Airlift and during the Korean War and after.
