From the Guidance Counselor's Office

From the Guidance Counselor's Office is a collection of vignettes inspired by the author's interaction with her high school students, her family and her friends. She adroitly takes you into the guidance counselor's office where you can "listen" to the stories that have been shared and to the guidance that has been offered. Her book is packed with ideas, wisdom, solutions, and suggestions concerning various situations such as grieving, scholastic success, choosing the right college and parenting. It is the author's intention to pass on the lessons she has learned and the insights she has gained. The author hopes that these vignettes will allow parents and children to see that their issues are not unique.
