Gelon combines the genre of a thriller with futuristic science fiction. It follows Graeme Falconer, and his team, on a search for drug cartels in the Colombian Jungle. Finishing this objective he's recalled to investigate several incidences in an Antarctic research station. Whilst journeying across the frozen wastes, Falconer discovers an ancient civilisation beneath the ice. He is suspicious and leaves to find reinforcements, before returning to attack them. But he is forced to retreat to the surface, vastly outnumbered; he prepares his men for a last stand. Expecting annihilation, Falconer instead learns that the strange civilisation, the Gelons, wish to negotiate a partnership with Earth. Falconer soon discovers there's a greater threat to humanity, so he agrees an alliance, and they embark on a sinister task to a strange world called Evontious. On Evontious, Falconer finds the inhabitants living under a shadow of an evil tyrant, and many light-years from Earth, the task-force realise their technology has been compromised. Falconer has to think quickly, calling upon all his experience and leadership. He finds a huge planet of with two moons, and strange creatures that can easily communicate with other species, and he meets dinosaurs that changed his perception of life and the concept of humanity. The Evontious council realises he is the Birru, according to legend the saviour who will decipher the clues left by the ancient brotherhood, the knight in shining armour who will awaken the Immortals, the legions of the un-dead. Unleashing the Immortals power is their only chance of freedom and survival. Standing against the enemy, Falconer, and his allies find themselves embroiled in a bitter war of good against evil where ethics and codes of chivalry play no part.
