This text examines waves of natural origin (both terrestrial and extra-terrestrial) which disturb the electromagnetic field of the Earth. The study and observation of these waves allows us to better understand the world in which we live, thus providing the basis for practical applications. The book provides a unifying treatment of the origin and application of geoelectromagnetic waves. Throughout the work, the authors demonstrate a physical understanding of the phenomena with theoretical results compared against ground and satellite-based data. In this way a practical picture is built up of the effects of geomagnetic pulsations.
