The January 2016 edition of Global Economic Prospects discusses global andregional economic developments and prospects, analyzing key challengesand opportunities currently confronting developing countries. This volumeaddresses, among other topics, spillovers from large emerging marketsand macroeconomic vulnerabilities during resource development.GlobalEconomic Prospects is a World Bank Group Flagship Report. On a semiannualbasis (January and June), it examines global economic developments andprospects, with a special focus on developing countries. The report includesanalysis of topical policy challenges faced by developing countries throughin-depth research in the January edition and shorter analytical pieces in theJune edition.
