Gnashing at the Gate

Take a visual journey through different realms of horror. The Japanese haiku form emphasizes simplicity, intensity, and directness of expression. While traditionally it focuses on images of nature, the stripped-down quality of the haiku form can lend itself well to conveying darker, more visceral imagery. This book is an exploration of this idea and it is my hope that readers will be able to find beauty in even the most horrific of landscapes.
