March 2020, I found myself climbing into a bubble in hopes that I was safe there. It seemed like most of mankind was doing the same. As I watched the Corona virus change the world it started to feel unreal. Death tolls across the country and world were rising. Families were suffering and racism raised its ugly head. I began to feel powerless. My normal was becoming forbidden and I had no control. It was literally life or death.
So, I chose life and allowed the characters in my head to come alive on these pages. They had moved in and started squatting in my brain.
