Graduate Employability remains a persistent global challenge. Most university graduates lack practical skills and remain unemployed in the world where 16 percent of the population is aged 15-25 years. The study, conducted at Kyambogo University in Uganda, explored how graduate employability can be enhanced through vocationalisation of Higher Education. It concluded that well implemented Vocational Education and Training (VET) is vital for sustainable national development as it helps impart practical skills to support employability, self-employment and self-sustenance. This book recommends that Governments should integrate VET in education systems; require tertiary institutions to introduce vocational studies; consult key stakeholders when designing school curricular; popularize VET to minimize lingering negative perceptions; identify and nurture learners' abilities early; benchmark better delivery methods; and allocate adequate funds to vocational programs. This book is recommended for educators, curriculum designers and implementers in higher education as well as policy makers, planners, analysts, researchers and scholars in the fields of labour, industry and tertiary education.
