Grant Writing as Storytelling

The Island of Thatch has a troll problem and the Village Elders of Abbingdon need a grant to keep the village children safe. This story is told through the lens of grant writing with ten chapters of tips and advice for writing a winning proposal. This book goes beyond the standard "how to write a grant" fare found in grant writing books, this book gives an axample of a grant, an example of a Request for Proposals, and finally an evaluation report about how the grant turned out.

Stories and grant narratives follow similar structures and this book uses a creative grant narrative to make these connections clear for the reader.

Me and me volunteers waded into the thatch an hour before feeding time, following the landmarks we noted on the map previous, at what time we discovered the lord mayor's whereabouts. We arrived at the camp down-wind and hid ourselves in the thatch.
