Greco-Roman Waters

The first of its kind, this book presents a wide range of passages exploring many aspects of the Greco-Roman watery world: physics, philosophy, weather, medicine, marine biology, religion and mythology, infrastructure, sailing, and mercantile activities, and politicizing water ways.
