“The road to being the mayor of Green Bay was never an easy one for Jim Schmitt. From his start as a young business owner and father of four to transforming Green Bay into a modern, forward-facing city, every step of his journey was paved with trials. He suffered unspeakable challenges and made indelible marks on Wisconsin’s most prolific city, transforming Titletown at its very core. 

Along the way, he met some unforgettable personalities, steered a hard-working town through an economic recession and brought some of Green Bay’s most beloved treasures to light, including roller coasters, public parks and tight-knit neighorhoods.
