Grey Like the Color of Ashes

In 1983 two children go missing while trick-or-treating on Halloween night. Almost every Halloween afterward is marked with tragedy, even after their bodies are discovered five years later.In 2015, Author Kelly Lundquist is trying to escape her life of addiction and misery, and takes an interest in writing about the history of the town and its unexplained events. As she tries to piece together the facts, the ghosts from her past link her to the ghosts of her present, and bring her face-to-face with the reality of her fate.
