Groundwater, Drought, Pollution and Management

This volume considers issues arising from the increasing international concern over the long-term sustainability of groundwater resources. The problem of overexploitation, pollution and drought are examined as are some of the remedial and management strategies that engineers and researchers are developing to combat these medium- and long-term problems. In this connection recent innovative developments and applications of artificial recharge techniques are discussed.
