Growing Up Mahogany

Growing Up Mahogany focuses on a young African American girl growing up (with a delayed sense) in an urban community, facing stigma and unwarranted experiences, and overcoming obstacles that have risen due to being hard of hearing. The lack of knowledge and understanding of her condition by her peers, family, and friends gives little Mahogany the opportunity to shed light on what it means to be brilliant, unique, and hard of hearing.
