Gwen in Purgatory

Gwen is 90. She woke up this morning to discover that purgatory is sitting alone in a new house in a new subdivision on the edge of town, trying to work out if the remote in her hand operates the air-con or the fan-forced oven. But then her grandson turns up, and Father Ezekiel, a priest from Nigeria, arrives to bless the house, and the beginning of the end starts to look up. When more of Gwen's kids arrive, each with their own motives and demons, this family of ordinary souls must battle to keep faith, both with Gwen and with each other.
