Harry's Ark

Set in Puerto Rico in 1947, HARRY'S ARK tells the story of a revolutionary helicopter that, on its maiden flight, set a world's record, and changed the lives of those who built it. But HARRY'S ARK, even more so, tells the story of the forbidden love between Don Perry and Patty Symms; between the pilot who aspired to become the Negro Lindbergh and the photojournalist from Life who became involved in a story she only set out to report. Ultimately, the novel, like the love they shared, deals with the courage to dare and the willingness to try.
