Many of us assume we can relate to someone who has lost a loved one because we have also lost someone we loved at some point. Yet no loss is the same, and no grieving journey is the same. Each grief process is different because the circumstances of each loss are different, the degree of the closeness is different, and the relationship is different. This book focuses on these differences. Of course there will be similarities, but this narrative encourages us to treat each loss individually.

In He Cares, Majendi Jarrett shares the challenges she faced after losing her brother, her mother, and her son Marley. While describing the differences between each of these losses, she also focuses on how faith played an important role in her grieving process and how she has grown and matured as a person.
