Heart of the Dawn

Skye's quest leads him and his cohorts to Horai where they know no one who can speak the language, save for Kaida-a young girl with a cryptic past and a curious attachment to Skye. With her aid, the hunt for the Wielders of the keys to the gates of hell continues as repeated attacks from demonic beasts begin to surface across the country.
To Henrietta, however, emerging monsters are a pale comparison to Tova's secret heritage and the shadow it has cast. Unbeknownst to Skye, there is a malevolence growing just out of sight, which will soon deliver calamity and perhaps the premature demise of the Wielder of hellfire.
The party is restless, ever aware that Xander is always on their heels.
