When Heath Harkness moves to Dead Crow, Wisconsin and meets the darkly seductive Victoria Tepesh, he discovers a plot to steal the 2016 Presidential election, which involves her father Dragomere, a Transylvanian oligarch whose fortune includes a supplement developed in Dr. Mengele's lab that prolongs life at a deadly cost and who is promoting the vapid governor of Wisconsin for President. 

Teaming up with his professor, Jacob Stein and an eclectic group of students, he launches an investigation that puts himself and those around him at risk.
