The first part of the book examines the history of this load-bearing principle, which is little known today but stretches from Renaissance master architects such as Leonardo da Vinci right up to current architectural practice. The second part of the publication provides an insight into the principle's intrinsic system, and provides examples of how it is possible using digital tools to expand the current applicational fields of reciprocal frameworks.
